🇬🇧 SACHSENRING, GERMANY | 12 July 2026 – Hakim Danish Ramli continued to collect valuable points in his Moto3 World Championship campaign after finishing 12th at the German Grand Prix at Sachsenring, having started the race from third on the grid. Despite a challenging weekend, the AEON Credit-MT Helmets-MSi rider secured four championship points to maintain his position inside the top ten of the overall standings.
Throughout Free Practice 1 (FP1), the Practice session and FP2, Hakim Danish and his team faced challenges in finding the optimal bike setup after encountering front-end vibration issues. The situation also made it more difficult for the team to fine-tune the machine, particularly in finding the ideal rear tyre grip required for the race. However, the team made improvements ahead of qualifying, with the use of the soft tyre helping Hakim Danish gain greater confidence on the bike. Without experiencing grip issues, Hakim Danish was able to set a competitive lap time and secure a place on the front row in third position.
In the 23-lap race, Hakim Danish made a strong start, moving up to second place when the lights went out before ending the opening lap in sixth. He remained close to the leading group until lap three before beginning to lose positions as he faced challenges with rear tyre grip. Although the front-end vibration issue was no longer present during the race, the lack of rear tyre grip made it difficult for Hakim Danish to maintain the pace of the riders ahead. Nevertheless, he continued fighting to control the bike in challenging conditions and managed to recover some positions during the middle stages of the race before eventually crossing the finish line in 12th place with a time of 33 minutes 19.287 seconds.
The result saw Hakim Danish collect four additional points, bringing his total tally to 86 points after 11 rounds. He remains seventh overall in the Moto3 World Championship standings and continues to hold third place in the Rookie of the Year classification with 86 points, just four points behind Indonesia’s Veda Pratama, while championship leader Brian Uriarte has extended his tally to 127 points.
Although the result was not what he had hoped for, the Sachsenring race provided valuable experience for Hakim Danish in understanding how to manage the bike when grip levels are not at their optimum. Improving his ability to adapt his riding style in low-grip conditions will be one of the key areas of focus as he continues working towards becoming a more competitive rider in the upcoming races.

🇬🇧 “Overall, it was a very challenging weekend for me. In every session I struggled with the bike because I was experiencing vibration issues whenever I entered the corners. However, the team never gave up and kept working hard to find a solution throughout the weekend. During qualifying yesterday, we used the soft tyre, which helped me set a competitive lap time. However, based on our race simulation in FP2, our pace wasn’t as competitive as we had hoped.
In today’s race, I tried my best to stay with the front group and fight for the best possible result. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find a good feeling with the rear tyre grip. Every time I opened the throttle, the bike was close to a high-side, which meant I couldn’t match the pace of the riders ahead.
I’ll take this race as a valuable learning experience. I’ll continue working on my weaknesses, keep pushing hard and do everything I can to come back stronger at the next round. Finally, I’d like to thank all of our sponsors, especially AEON Credit, my team, and all the supporters back in Malaysia for their unwavering support.”

🇬🇧 “Overall, I would describe our weekend at Sachsenring as a positive one, although the final result was not what we had hoped for. From FP1 through to the Practice session and FP2, Hakim was affected by front-end vibration issues, which affected his confidence on the bike. However, ahead of qualifying, the team managed to find a solution to the problem. Using the soft tyre also worked in Hakim’s favour and helped him secure an excellent third place on the front row.
That said, before the race even started, I already felt that we didn’t quite have the race pace to challenge consistently at the front. Of course, finishing 12th was not our target, but I see this result as part of Hakim’s learning process. The most important thing is for Hakim to continue maturing in the way he manages the bike when grip levels are not at their optimum. That’s an area we need to keep improving through training and experience. Together with the team, we will continue working hard to ensure Hakim returns even stronger and more competitive at the next race.”
