🇬🇧 Lombok, Indonesia | 11 October 2026 – Hakim Danish Ramli finished the Moto3 Indonesian Grand Prix in 14th place after a challenging and action-packed race at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit today.

Starting from the back of the grid following a penalty received after qualifying, Hakim Danish showed strong determination with a good start, immediately making up positions from the opening lap.

The 19-year-old rider moved up to 21st on the opening lap before overtaking another five riders on the following lap to move into 16th. He continued his positive momentum by breaking into the points-scoring positions in 15th on Lap 3.

Hakim Danish then maintained a consistent pace and held 12th position from Lap 10 through to Lap 18. Towards the closing stages of the race, he also managed to break into the top 10 and was in a strong position to fight for an even better result.

However, on the final lap, Hakim Danish suffered a loss of front-end grip while entering a corner, resulting in contact with Joel Kelso of GRYD Racing.

Despite the incident costing him several positions, Hakim Danish was able to continue the race and cross the finish line in 12th place. However, a three-second time penalty, imposed as a substitute for a Long Lap Penalty, subsequently classified him in 14th place.

The result saw Hakim Danish collect two valuable points at the Indonesian GP, taking his championship tally to 107 points and placing him ninth in the overall Moto3 World Championship standings.

The Indonesian GP was won by championship leader Maximo Quiles of CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar Team, with David Almansa of Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP finishing second, while Brian Uriarte completed the podium in third.

On behalf of ZK Racing, we will continue to provide our full support to Hakim Danish for the remainder of the season. The focus now turns to the next race, with the aim of continuing to improve his performance and secure more valuable championship points.

🇬🇧 “Overall, I think the start of today’s race was quite good. I built my rhythm from the beginning, made a good start and tried to overtake the riders one by one ahead of me.
Throughout the race, I managed my riding and tried to close the gap to the group in front. I also noticed that there were some sections of the circuit where I struggled a little, while there were other areas where I was strong. In the sections where I was not as strong, I tried to study the riders ahead of me and improve my speed.

However, towards the end of the race, on the final lap, I crashed while trying to overtake Joel Kelso after losing front-end grip. I managed to pick the bike up and continue the race before finishing in 14th place following a three-second penalty.

I have also apologised to Kelso regarding the incident, and now I want to stay focused and prepare for the next race at the Australian GP.”

🇬🇧 “The race in Mandalika highlighted two important aspects of a rookie rider’s development. On the positive side, Danish’s ability to fight his way from 26th on the grid into the top 10 demonstrates that he has the pace to challenge the leading group when starting from the front rows.
However, in terms of tactical maturity and emotional management, I acknowledge that there have been challenges, particularly with the inconsistency in performance since the middle of the season. The high expectations following his strong results earlier in the season have also placed additional psychological pressure on him.

In world-class motorsport, a difference of just one-tenth of a second during a race can be decisive. This requires a high level of mental resilience.”
