CABARAN LITAR BASAH HADKAN HAKIM DANISH, NAMUN KEKAL RAIH MATA

Namun, segala-galanya berubah sebaik hujan membasahi Litar Le Mans sebelum perlumbaan bermula dan pasukan terpaksa mencari setup berlainan buat Hakim Danish.

🇬🇧 LE MANS, FRANCE | 11 MAY 2026 – Hakim Danish Ramli’s bid to secure his best result at the 2026 French Grand Prix (GP) was denied after wet and slippery conditions at Le Mans disrupted his aggressive race pace today.
The AEON Credit-MT Helmets-MSI rider had to settle for 10th place, collecting six valuable championship points in a highly challenging race that saw nearly half of the grid fail to finish following multiple crashes. Hakim Danish, who started from 12th on the grid, arrived in Le Mans full of confidence after delivering convincing performances throughout the race weekend.

The Terengganu-born rider not only progressed into Qualifying 2 (Q2), but also consistently posted competitive lap times from the opening free practice session through to qualifying in dry conditions. However, everything changed when rain hit the Le Mans circuit just before the race, forcing the team to find a different setup for Hakim Danish.

The lack of data, particularly for wet-weather conditions at Le Mans, proved to be a major setback as the team had to take a gamble with the machine’s setup for today’s race. As a result, Hakim Danish struggled to build full confidence in the bike, forcing him to change his strategy from chasing the front group to focusing on surviving all the way to the chequered flag.

With the circuit in extremely dangerous condition, the more cautious approach ultimately kept Hakim Danish from becoming another crash victim at Le Mans. Following the result, Hakim Danish now sits 15th in the overall championship standings with 18 points.

Although he was unable to finish higher up the order, the result in Le Mans still offers positive signs heading into the next round in Catalunya, given the clear improvement in his pace throughout the weekend in dry conditions.

🇬🇧 “I’m grateful to have finished the race at Le Mans in 10th place. In today’s race, which was held in wet conditions, I made a good start and tried to stay with the front group. However, it was quite difficult because I did not feel fully confident riding in the wet. Perhaps the bike setup today was also not entirely suited to the race conditions, so it was difficult for me to gain full confidence on the bike.
I tried to maintain my pace and position because if I pushed too hard, the chances of crashing in this race were very high. Overall, I was actually very confident throughout the weekend whenever the track was dry, as the bike setup was working really well.

But for today’s race, we did not have any practice sessions or data in wet conditions before going straight into the race in those circumstances. Nevertheless, I will take all the positives from this weekend and continue working hard in preparation for the next race in Catalunya.”

🇬🇧 “It was a positive week for Hakim Danish at Le Mans. During the practice and qualifying sessions, we managed to show good performance and Hakim was among the competitive group. However, heading into the race, we were hoping for a better result once the rain arrived because we knew Hakim’s record in wet conditions at this circuit is very strong.
But as soon as the race started, that feeling simply was not there for Hakim Danish. As a rider, when you are racing in wet conditions without confidence or a good feeling with the bike, it becomes very difficult to ride at 100 per cent. So our target today, once the feeling was not quite right, was simply to survive and finish the race, and Hakim managed to do that while many other riders crashed.

I believe that if we had managed to produce a better setup for the race, Hakim could have achieved a stronger result. However, we also could not predict what would happen because nearly half of the riders crashed today. In any case, P10 is not a bad result and I hope that in the future Hakim will be able to remain competitive in both wet and dry conditions. We will use this race as an experience to continue improving our performance moving forward.”
